The B8/58J-40x40 lock case is designed for embedding a mortise lock into metal gates, wickets, and other steel structures. It provides a firm and stable space for mounting the lock mechanism and allows for its practical integration into the gate leaf structure.

The case is made of stainless steel AISI 304 and is intended for the B1/30-22x90 lock with a 90 mm spacing. Thanks to the prepared openings, it allows for the installation of a compatible lock, cylinder insert, and handle fitting. It is suitable for manufacturing new gates well for renovating existing structures.

Brushed surface (brush). The mechanically brushed surface finish gives the lock case a uniform, aesthetic appearance. Stainless steel AISI 304 also provides good resistance to corrosion and weather influences.

Installation and compatibility

The lock case is designed for embedding into the metal structure of a gate or wicket. It is adapted for mounting the B1/30-22x90 mortise lock and allows for subsequent installation of a compatible handle fitting and cylinder insert.

During installation, the dimensions of the case, the 90 mm hole spacing, and the structural requirements of the lock mechanism used must be taken into account. The case can be integrated into a suitable steel structure by welding, using a welding procedure appropriate for stainless steel.
